FitsMe is a web based app that aims to provide an intuitive way for individuals to find recipes that fit their unique lifestyles. It’s also a tool to save money and reduce food waste.
The core belief of the founders is that when it comes to food and recipes, the individual’s preferences and lifestyle should be taken into account in order to provide the best possible experience. They’ve seen this void in the market and decided to create a tool for such a need.
We penetrated the market focused on properly defining the brand’s differentiator, the “personalization” factor.
During the initial brainstorming and quick sketching sessions, I’ve used simple, usual things that we find in every kitchen and concepts that convey the “chef” concept.
The selection was made considering the most important characteristic of the brand – personalization.
Personalization and uniqueness brought us to the custom drawn, upright and bold script.
The letterforms are wide, present rounded terminals and their boldness and overall flow are inviting and positive.
TYPOGRAPHY AND COLOR
The “Discover recipes that fit you” tagline was set in Varela Round.
The font’s wide characters and rounded terminals make it a perfect fit for our logotype and the generous x-height will ensure good readability when used as body text in future materials.

Friendly shapes and rounded corners were also used with consistency in this measurement iconset designed for the brand.
